Tournament Withdrawal Policy
Please Note:
Late withdrawals and no-shows negatively impact tournament planners, volunteers, and fellow players.
Before registering, please ensure you can attend at the scheduled date and time for your division.
If you need to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances, notify us as soon as possible so we can adjust accordingly (see details below).
Withdrawal Options
Option 1 : Find a replacement
If you can no longer participate, you may find a replacement as soon as possible before the tournament.
Steps

Find a replacement. Ensure their rating is appropriate for the division in which you registered.

Forward your event registration email containing your ticket to your replacement.

Once your replacement is confirmed and committed, email info@marysvillepickleball.com with "Tournament Replacement" in the subject line, and include the following details:

Tournament name

Your full name
-
Your replacement’s full name

Your replacement’s email address and phone number
Our Role: We will update attendee records to reflect the transfer. However, we do not:

Facilitate payment processing between parties
-
Facilitate communication between parties
-
Mediate disputes between parties
Option 2 : Withdraw Without a Replacement

Withdraw 72 hours before the tournament start time to receive a 90% refund (10% to cover our event and credit processing fees).

No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
How to cancel your registration:
Email info@marysvillepickleball.com with "Cancellation" in the subject line, and include:

Tournament name

Your full name
-
Your partner's full name
Note: The withdrawal notice will be time-stamped based on the receipt of your email.

Open Play Withdrawal Policy

Withdraw at least 24 hours before the event to receive a 90% refund (a 10% fee to recoup fees charged to the club). There are no refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours of the event. To cancel, email info@marysvillepickleball.com with "Event Cancellation" in the subject line, including your full name, event name, and date.

Transfers: Tickets may be transferred to another member at any time prior to the event.

How to Transfer: Arrange the transfer (sell, gift, or reassign your ticket) and verify eligibility. For member-only events you must ensure that your replacement is a current club member. Once finalized, email info@marysvillepickleball.com with the new attendee’s full name, contact info, event name, and date.

Our Role with transfers: We update attendee records to reflect transfers. We do not facilitate payments or mediate disputes.
